Send a Message

At the Icon 4 Illustration Conference, illustrators from around the world tried a fun new activity: stamp trading. The artists created stamps of their work, and traded them with other artists. Now that the U.S. Post Office is allowing the public to put their own images on stamps, why not create some artwork that can be sent to friends and relatives?

Also if your students are making artwork about social issues, they could turn their work into stamps and send a message by sending a message.....

I ordered some stamps but haven't gotten them yet. I'll let you know how they are when I get 'em. It's pretty cool to do though, and relatively easy. Whole process took me about 10 minutes. - J
