The Indianapolis Museum of Art has an impressive online exhibition of African Art. The site groups the artwork according to the topics Youth, Leadership, Adulthood, and Ancestors. Within each section you are able to view some of the artworks up close and rotate them 360 degrees. There are also many fascinating video clips and interviews. My students really got into the site and its art. My normally "loud" class was silent. That says a lot!
