BBC Motion Gallery

The BBC Motion Gallery is a great resource for short video clips.

Encompassing 500 million feet of film and 400,000 hours of video, the unrivalled BBC archive spans over 8 million subject categories - and it’s growing by the minute.

These clips are timecoded and watermarked, although they are available for lisencing. However, the watermarked versions could certainly be used for student documentary projects (where seeing the watermark might not be so jarring as in a narrative or music video) or possibly for integration into Rotoscoping Projects. Most likely, though, it could just provide a resource for examining motion in video.
