Wax, If You Must

If you absolutely, positively, have no choice but to edit video on a PC, here's an Instructable on how to get some free chroma-key action. I haven't tried it yet, and won't until I get back to my school-provided PC next fall (why else would I use one?). This requires you downloading a freeware program called Wax 2.0.

'Abslolutley must edit on a PC' ?

Last time i checked, after effects runs 2.64 times faster in unix under wine than in OSX (baselined on the same machine)

Thanks emperor- you may well be right, but in my experience, its not how fast it runs on the PC, its getting it to run at all. Most school PCs aren't configured for video editing, and it just ends up being an exercize in futility. I have no doubt that a properly configured PC wil run your editing and compositing programs just fine, but any mac will also run these programs well and usualy for less.

Hey, btw- is this the emperor with the day-glo orange crown? You're the only emperor I know who would go to bat for editing on a PC...
