You know that you're a hopeless art-geek when you stumble across a website that makes you feel like you've just jumped down the Well of the Souls and opened the Ark of the Covenant. That's what it was like to find the 45 Best Freeware Design Programs. Don't look directly at the web page, as so much free software wasn't meant to be viewed all at once. Take it in a little bit at a time- we'll eventually be reviewing some of the software here at the Revolution as our archaeologists take the time to examine their findings.

I downloaded the google package to my school PC last yaer and the kids found Picasa- we had lots of fun with it. One freshman used it to edit her photos and took ribbons at district and state.
