Following my recent rant about the MSNBC reaction to the Obama Girl video, host Chris Matthews has devised a more progressive response - to encourage people to submit their own original videos to his Hardball Campaign Ad Challenge:
If you've got an idea for the next great viral video ad, pick up your camera! Hardball's campaign ad challenge is looking the most creative entries about your favorite presidential candidate or the candidate you like the least.
I'm not a terribly big fan of Matthews, but I'll give credit where credit is due- and this contest sounds like fun, especially if you've got a summer program! I only wish Matthews had better timing!
