There are some interesting videos to be found at Factory Films - notably Fujiya Miyagi - a video done entirely in dice - it has a similar feel to The White Stripe's Fell in Love with a Girl, which was done all in Legos.
At any rate, this looks like a great source for non-mainstream music videos, a mainstay for any video production class.
