I snuck into Kim's classroom last week to catch her lesson on our Olympic ATCs project. The fifth graders were super excited to get started. Kim has created a great environment in her classroom where the kids take ownership of knowing where to find things, taking the materials they want to use, and putting everything away. This works perfectly for the ATC assignment because the students have a large variety of materials to choose from.
