The art of Romare Bearden is always a great inspiration for students of all ages to consider representattions of their own neighborhoods in collage. The Metropolitian Museum of Art has a great Interactive Romare Bearden Page called "Let's Walk the Block". Here you and your students can learn about the artist, the history and inspiration behind "The Block", and examine the artwork in incredible detail.
