No discussion of street art or actvist art (or activist street art for that matter) is complete without a nod to the mysterious Banksy. This article provides a fantastic overview of his work. Banksy demonstrates the amazing ability of art to raise awareness of social and political issues through changing the way we experience the world.

I am interested in doing a unit plan for high schoolers and am curious how others have gotten over the graffiti issue/"don't do this at home".
