These reproductions of classical sculptures on display at the Vatican Museum depict what many famous sculptures would have looked like based on trace amounts of pigments in the stone. Seeing how these "reproduced originals" look next to the "actual originals", makes me sure of one thing: if my own artwork looks that much better after a few thousand years of wear and tear, I'm destined for greatness.

To be fair though, I have always liked the exterior of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which was designed in the Greek style with original coloring:
